The “Big Problem” Is Almost Always Exercising Caution Over Taking Action.

Charlotte Whitton

“Action makes more fortune than caution.” – Charlotte Whitton, Born Mar. 8, 1896.

Fortune can mean money. As in, he made a fortune in business.

And it can mean luck. As in, he was fortunate to get into that business when he did.

And it can mean your future or destiny. As in, let me tell your fortune.

No, let me. Really.

I predict that whatever it is that has you stuck, or uncertain, or unsuccessful can be overcome by the simple application of action.

No, not MASSIVE EFFORT 10X GRINDIN…

No, not the perfect application of a genius master plan…

No, not the newest trick or gimmick or hack or loophole to life, the universe, and everything…

Just take action. A little one. Just start fucking around with whatever it is.

Turn it over. Poke at it. Think about it. Write about it. Talk about it. Work on it. Five small minutes at a time.

Actions add up. They accumulate. They force little bits of progress. They show you hidden ideas. They reveal undiscovered shortcuts.

They lead to fortune. Of all kinds.

Caution might save you some pain. And caution is wise. But caution doesn't bring fortune. It doesn't line up your courage with your will the way action does.

So whatever it is, do it.
