This is good advice in general, but I would add that if you can manage to be interesting, and do interesting things, then you can make a good living on this here internet.
Use the internet to teach yourself to do something that interests you. Spend some money on it. Invest your time into it.
Record your journey from the very beginning. Create content about what you're learning and doing. Document it.
Note: This part – making content – entails its own set of skills and techniques to learn to do well and strive to get better at. But it's easy and you can do it all from a smartphone or tablet these days.
How does that ever end up making money, though?
Simple – charge people in your growing audience for actually teaching them step by step how to do exactly what you did.
Become an affiliate and offer them things that you yourself have bought and recommend.
If your audience is large enough, sell advertisements directly to the people who have good things to offer your people.
And where are your people? Where do you gather those followers?
Use whatever platforms and mediums are popular and active so you can find an audience. Facebook. Instagram. Pinterest. Your own blog. Email lists. YouTube. Whatever. Mix and match. Use the platforms you personally enjoy participating on.
Then what?
Repeat. Do it over and over. If you get bored in one niche, evergreen and automate everything and then move on to the next thing that interests you. Then do it all again.
That's it.
Does that sound hard? It's not. You just have to start. You're *meant* to start. Destined to. No one else can do it like you can, whatever it is.
Because every individual is unique, and the way you view your niche, approach your problems, and create solutions will all pull on every aspect of your self. Your history, memories, imagination, attitude, and personality.
And that means anything you offer will be UNIQUE and VALUABLE automatically, so long as you put your true self into it and on display.
I promise it works. This exact process is making many people wealthy. People no smarter, and no more talented than anyone reading this. The difference between them and you is that they started and are doing it.
